ITALIAN PRIDE! SHOW IT! SHOW IT!
XD I love this flag I can't wait to wave it for my cosplay. This will be great. Austria, Canada, Romano and I went outside the front of the highschool entrance and started waving the flags around. Lol. It was great.
Ah! Before I forget to include I did some research there really isn't much on the web that proves at one time the Italian flag was white, but if you go to Fort Niagara, they we will have a place where flags are hung. Don't quote me on this but in that area hung a white flag, our guide told us at that time Italy did not have a design for that flag.
I got into an agruement and decided the Italian white flag would be a good research topic. Nothing on the web goes to prove that the Italian flag was ever white yet I saw it at Fort Niagara. But, it looks like Italy changed and fought over the design of there flag for quite sometime so they must have threw the design out the window and made the flag white. Later the adopted the tricolor from the french.
The red of the flag symbolizes the power and strength Italy had in the Roman times.
The white of the flag represents the charity and faith. (of what I'll have to look deeper into it.)
The green of the flag the one website I'm reading off now is saying that it represent the green grass of the country, another source said it represented hope. (yet again I'll have to look further into it.)
Alright well then that was a mouth full.
Another thing this has nothing to do with learning I'm sorry for the cursing........but this video is hilerious.
